Polyimide labels usually have a glossy finish, and might be White Polyimide, Tan Polyimide, or other colors.  Thermal transfer imprintable Polyimide labels usually require a resin thermal transfer ribbon, i.e. the SDR ribbon.  Polyimide labels can withstand very harsh environments, including high heat, sunlight, UV, etc.  Polyimide labels are durable, waterproof, tearproof, and scratch and heat resistant.  Applications for Polyimide labels include identification of property, equipment and electronics in extreme heat environments.
